FB Valley has been a leading utility construction provider in Canada for over 20 years. Having started out servicing primarily clients in the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainlands of British Columbia (as Ryco Powerline and then as Valley Power Line Contracting Ltd.), FB Valley has experienced exponential growth and has taken on several projects in the U.S. The company was formed by Clayton Olivier, a lineman by trade and his brother-in-law, in 2002. In the early years, the development of some very important partnerships led to winning Master Service Agreements with BC Hydro and the BC Power Authority. Following the growth of Ryco Powerline, Clayton Olivier incorporated Valley Power Line Contracting Ltd. (VPL) in 2004.
In 2019, VPL was acquired by the Forbes Bros. Group of Companies and became FB Valley. FB Valley has an ongoing commitment to upholding the health and safety of its employees, contractors, and worksites, as well as the communities in which they work in. FB Valley achieves this through environmental sustainability strategies, strict health and safety policies and practices, and supporting local charities and organizations. The FB Valley team is quick to lend a helping hand in communities (both near and far) when devastation strikes, like in response to natural disasters such as Hurricane Sandy and various other emergency storm restoration jobs.
FB Valley offers a variety of specialized services which include but are not limited to transmission, distribution, civil underground, emergency response, EV charging stations, substations and renewables. We offer 24-hour service calls for any and every kind of powerline emergency, power packages, material supply, construction, and electricians. We are proud to offer our services to homeowners, electrical contractors, and land developers in parts of Canada and the U.S.
